  12. .....i have no problem with safety devices, rsl's, aad's etc...etc....

    BUT,
    i also believe that if your aad fires and your not knocked out, you should be escorted off the field, your membership to the uspa be canceled
    and your name entered into a database of people not allowed to jump.
    REASON
    you just broke the most basic rule of the sport.....save your own life at a reasonable altitude....if you are unable to do the most basic thing in in the sport.....see ya!!! bye....the bowling ally is down the street, and dont drop the ball on your toes's ...it might break your toes...

    pull prioritys.....
    1>pull
    2>pull at the right altitude
    3>pull at the right altitude while stable

    it is the jumper's responsability to stop freefall period!!
    it is also the jumpers responsability to open high enough to deal with any glitchs or malfunctions that might cause a cut away

    RSL: while its really nice to have something that pulls your reserve for you.....it's still your job!!!

    while i dont have a problem with people using safety devices.....i do have a problem with people abusing them....
    if you rely on mechanical devices to do the job you should have been trained for.....and should be prepared to do.....

    that was actually an original ranch hand named chucky bonis and the incident took place at a very well known jumper/director/writer's house in florida

    also in that collectors set was a clip following a jumper after he chuggs a pitcher of cold beer and pukes it up in the parking lot (while people are interviewing him and pulling his pants down)

    also included in the set was (igors low pulls and other acts of insanity)
    4-way video guy does a loooong delay after break off and was less than tree top when the slider came down on his batwing!!!

    the pilot is in on it to.....those bumps on the way to altitude......are to knock your pin loose and cause a horseshoe that wraps around your neck, thus making it an suicide

    they are also spitting on your pizza
    and pissing in your beer
    then they go in to the woods and laugh about it behind your back

    they put you on the list because they dont want to build a monument to you(marcel the cement wonder boy), or name a pond swoop rule after you(the digger rule)

    no offense jerm.....but i remember about 10 people surounding you when you had a camera on your head with under 100 jumps, something like 20 thousand jumps collectivly telling you you were being dangerous and unsafe.

    and i remember you telling us that you knew what you were doing
