That's a great view. My views changed when my mom passed away a few years ago. I realized there were so many things she wanted to do and never got to. I also realized that in the end, she didn't care about any of her possesions, just that me and my brother would be okay. I live my life giving to others more than myself now. Someday they will realize that the "things" are just that, but until then... if it makes them happy, then it makes me happy. Most material things can be replaced, and the ones that can't (pictures and stuff) still have a place in my memory. And I will do the traveling I've always wanted to as soon as my kids are older.
