  1. That might be a tough sell. She did her first skydive recently and when I asked if it was at all what she expected she replied, "It was a lot worse!!" But, you guys are pretty good at singing happy birthday--I got it twice!! And then we'd have to bring a cake again. Hmmm... I wonder what "secrets" and "skeletons" you have on me. -Nadia
  2. I'm so sad that I'm going to miss the boogie. The 4th was so much fun and I was very sad leaving it early. I think Robin and I need to start making more regular visits to the Farm :) And what a better place to hang out with awesome people and make some fun jumps. Who knows--maybe with some canopy coaching I could even swoop the pond... Cheers, Nadia
  3. MaxiMe, Here's a pic of you and MiniMe... See you soon! -Nadia
  4. The boogie was AWESOME!! Too bad it had to end... I made some great new friends and got to hang out with many of my 'old' friends. Attached are a few pictures of me and Anillos...Thanks for the pictures George! Who's making bushwhackers at Skyfest
  5. I almost forgot. For those of you that can't make it to the visitation you can sign the registry, write a tribute, and even include a picture at the funeral home's website http://www.americanmemorials.com/fhwebs/caughman/index.htm Click on "Current Services" and Jason's name. Also, here's a link to his obituary: http://www.realcities.com/mld/state/news/obituaries/17324507.htm
  6. Jason, I miss you already--your smile, your great sense of humor, and your passion (for family, friends, skydiving, and most recently your new bike). I keep remembering the weekends at Blue Sky Adventures, the story of your tree landing, the video of the roman candle gone awry, the world freefall convention in 2003, a balloon jump that lasted a little too long (at least it seemed so from the basket), 10 way speed star, dinner with friends in Columbia, your cool purple jacket, hanging out in Dublin a few months ago, and being excited to see you briefly two Sundays ago. I send my love to Jay, Kim, the rest of the family, and Erin. Big Hugs, Nadia
  7. I just got a job at the University of Georgia, so my husband and I are relocating to Athens. Does anyone know of a good real estate agent in the Athens area? Thanks for the help!! Cheers, Nadia

    Corona

I've heard that in Mexico they put limes in the top of their bottle to keep the bugs out. They move the lime to drink the beer and then put it back. They use limes just because they are cheap and easy to come by. This was just a story that I heard when I was pretty drunk drinking Coronas on the beach--it may not be true at all, but it sounds logical enough to me.
  9. Hey Katie--You are welcome to crash with me and Robin. We'll be in Columbia (an hour and 15 minutes away) on Friday night (cuz we're getting back from Perris on Friday) and on Saturday night we will be in the camper. Just let me know... Thanks for the necklace!! I love it. We will definitely have to do a PMS/RB jump. That would be great--a jump with all my sisters and brothers. I can't wait for the HMB!! It's going to be awesome! -Nadia
  10. Robin and I fly back from Perris on Friday (Robin's birthday) and plan on heading down to the boogie on Friday night or Saturday morning. Maybe you can do the long awaited Pink Maphia Sisters initiation jump at the Harvest Moon Boogie. We are going to have an awesome week--Nationals and the HMB. I couldn't ask for more. -Nadia
  11. The organizers are Guy Wright and Dave Osbon. I can't wait! It is going to be awesone!! I hope my new pink maphia sisters can come (Katie, Heather, and all of those sisters I haven't met yet). Maybe we could do a big all women jump. -Nadia aka Traviesa Rodriguez PMS #251
  12. Thanks everyone for making it such a great time. It was so great to get to know some more awesome women. Hopefully I will see you all again soon at the Coastal Carolina meet or at the SC women's record attempt in September. Blue skies, Nadia
