Well friends, the last few days have been traumatic, and to add to the list, but the Casa has been cancelled due to mechanical problems. I apologize to everyone planning on being in Palatka this weekend for the inconvenience. HOWEVER.....I have just been able to line up a SKYVAN, Caravan, and a helicopter for this weekend. We will start as planned on Friday morning!!!! YAH!!!

Just so you guys know - some folks are making up flags for their own "country" out in the camping area of the dz - something like "Elitestville" from a couple of years ago. The plaques for the competition are done, airplane, food, and beer have been arranged, the long term forcast for weather looks good....... One week to go!

Well, Mightdog, I guess we might be able to talk Sid into packing a rig or two. Unless there happen to be any Pink Mafia at the boogie - he might be preoccupied!!

Arrrgh!!!!! 3 weeks!! I've got a lot of preparations to finish.... Dave Rhoades (Fat Man) has confirmed for the barbeque. Yum.

A memorial service for Sam will be held at Skydive Palatka next Saturday, September 25, at 11 am. Sam Bussey was killed yesterday in a car crash on SR 100 west of Palatka. The North/Central Florida skydiving community will miss him. We will post any more information it is available.
