  1. Australia's oldest skydiving club
  2. Nestled in the township of Elderslie in NSW's premier wine district, Hunter Valley, NSPC offers all you expect from a club plus a little more - A Turbine :) Since around 2010 when the Green Cresco turned up, the club has been running almost exclusively with turbines. Cresco, Beaver and Caravans have been the usual suspects at the club. Drop in for a jump or just to say Gudday.

    Vigil II

Vigil 2 AAD Serial Number: #36723 The AAD was on a year hire to be paid monthly and there have been no payments for months and no response from hirer, Gordon Kannemeyer. The unit was installed in a container that was owned by the son of the hirer, Julia
  4. Howdy I just came across 2 of these units. Both with the wax paper. Is there any more info? Are they worth anything?
  5. Please help us rebuild our runway. Newcastle Sport Parachute Club is the oldest skydiving club in Australia (2nd oldest in the world!) and we need your help! Our strip is is dire need of resurfacing and it will cost 10's of thousands of dollars, which we just don't have Our operations have been stifled the last 15 years due to court rulings and we're only just getting back on our feet again ... we now have the use of a Caravan!!!!!! but we need the strip fixed otherwise the A/C owner may take his plane away. Please help. Please donate and please encourage your mates to chip in as well. NSPC is an institution in Australia that just MUST continue. There are just so few clubs left. Skydivers from around the world unite! If you've ever jumped at Elderslie, or you cheer on the underdog, then please chip in. Just a couple of jump tix ... donate now Go to http://www.facebook.com/SosSaveOurStrip/app_208195102528120 and donate a couple of jump tickets worth. Thanks heaps for any support Kenton
  6. 1) Packing - pressure knots + torn center cell after hard opening from a packer 2) Packing - lineover - my packing 3) Packing - Baglock or streamer or something (not game enough to look) 4) Operator - was sore from premi on previous jump, lazy throw, PC hesitation, got off too quick. 5) Equipment - 1 break refused to unlock on Tandem 6) Packing - Lineover (tandem) 7) Body position/equipment - Lent my gear to someone who forgot to do up their chest strap on a FF jump. They crossed arms on deployment - went in to head down and had instant canopy. Must have put a small hole in it (I inspected it and couldn't see it) but when I jumped it next, tore a 3 foot hole in the top skin.
  7. OK OK OK!!!!! I'm off to Eloy. How do I share the time? Obviously I can't do an hour straight, how do I line up 3 buddies to share?
  8. Heat doesn't bother me , I just heard that it's real quiet and all the good tutors leave. If that's not the case, then I'm there!!!!!!!
  9. So, Eloy's OK this time of year? No too hot?
  10. Hi all I arrive in the US on 22nd of June in LA and must be back there on 1 July before I return to Oz. Apart from that, I'm free to get in some tunnel time (looking for 4-5 hours of FF coaching). I had planned to go to Eloy, but have been warned off due to the heat this time of year. Any suggestions on where to go to tune my FF skills? Thanks in advance Kenton
  11. Hi I'm Kenton McLeod from Australia. Fairly well known around the Syndey area (by the older skydivers anyway). 3000+ jumps but have been out of the sport for a few years and am looking for some gear to get back in. I'm keen to buy Moser's gear but not real keen on sending money halfway round the world to someone I've only had internet contact with. I trust Skydivers (generally), but on the internet anyone can pretend to be anyone/anything. So if you can confirm that this sale is not a scammer then that would be fantastic
  12. Hello I am looking to purchase a rig from Daniel Moser and he says that his home DZ is Reichenbach/ Skidive Switzerland. Does anyone there know him? Is he selling his gear? Is he trustworthy enough for me to send the money before getting the goods? Thanks ... just don't want to get ripped off.
