parachutist 1 #1 September 23, 2007 The weather predictions were dismal, but thankfully we had good conditions and we all got in 5 jumps today at Zephyrhills. Attached is a photo of Dean (yellow/blue) working with Steve (black/white) to salvage a dock gone bad. They did manage to work through it and Steve stayed in his slot. It was a nice recovery. I'm surprised that Steve was able to reinflate his canopy from that! (I have never done CRW so I don't know the dynamics of such a situation.)

remko 0 #6 October 4, 2007 Hmmm... :-| Looks like Dean got hold of a cell/line close to the center trying so salvage a `less optimal' dock. When that happens, the (in this case) left part of the docking canopy will collapse when it hits the burble of the adjacent canopy. Best not to touch anything except for the end cell/line when catching a dock. Greetings, Remko -- Everything you know is wrong. But some of it is a useful first approximation.
