godfrog 2 #1 December 27, 2011 has anyone tried this type of video camera? I know that it isn't quite the wide angle that the Gopro is but any feed back on it would be appreciated.Experience is a difficult teacher, she gives you the test first and the lesson afterward
Zymurdoo 0 #2 December 27, 2011 I am not sure which model you are looking at. I had one of the early models and can tell you the sound was horrible and the wobble on the video was plain stomach churning. And that was using it on the ground, not skydiving.Blue Skies, Soft Docks and Happy Landings! CWR #23 (It's called CRW, add an e if you like, but I ain't calling it CFS. FU FAI!) godfrog 2 #3 December 27, 2011 Not sure of the model number can't find it but can post a couple pic's. My son used it once last year skiing and it was set on a narrow veiw and I wasn't very impressed with the video.Experience is a difficult teacher, she gives you the test first and the lesson afterward
Zymurdoo 0 #4 December 27, 2011 Looks very similar to the one I have sitting in a drawer somewhere. I would recommend the GoPro or Contour for a personal POV camera as they are well tested in the skydiving environment.Blue Skies, Soft Docks and Happy Landings!
