Editing on PC

Recommended Posts

several experts convinced me that windows movie maker for Windows 7 wasn't as good as past versions. I now have windows moviemaker 2.6 for XP, it presents a timeline on startup. Problem is I can't drag clips in to collections area, "file type not supported".
Any suggestions on this?

IMO, best suggestion is spend a few $$ for an up-to-date video editing app. Under $100 for everything you need to edit most any file type you thow at it:
