Man, some things I see from the video and pictures:

* Exmor Lens - cool
* Changed form factor - bad :-(
* Clip on Sony lens - I can't see this as being good for us, talk about shake ($100 Sony VCL-HGE07TB) Sounds like its a .7x
* AV/R is still on body - Good :-)
* Price tag - @$1000 think you are paying for the size and the GPS.

Initial thoughts. With again the lack of a thread for a wide angle lens and the price tag, I would say the CX100/CX105 is probably a better option. Of course this is without seeing or playing with the camera.
