PhreeZone 15 #2 November 5, 2006 No one uses MiniDVD because it is not a stable enough platform to record on in freefall. There is too much bumbing and 120mph airflow creaping into the camera to hold the disk steady enough for reliable video. The main platform in use is the Mini-DV and some are looking into flash based with varying results. The USPA SIM recommends at least 200 skydivese before jumping a camera.
