If you search ebay for videonics, you will find some basic and cheap mixers as well as the MX-1, MX-1 pro, MX-1 Pro DV. There are other brands out there as well. However one thing you might want to think about, if you editing on your cam, you could just get one of the videonics (or other brand) titler boards that has the built in sound mixer. This would let you add titles and mix the sound then fade to a blank title.
