BigM 2 #1 May 26, 2004 I'm flying a Hawkeye (dual-mount) camera helmet with a Sony TRV top mounted on it. I'm ready to mount my Canon Rebel, and I want to leave the TRV where it is as a top mount, and I'd like the Rebel in front. What are my hardware options to make this happen? Does it have to be some home-made platform? If so, what type and thickness material do I need? Arrow Dynamics doesn't have an accessory to accomplish this. Many, many tanks in advance. BigM 2 #3 May 27, 2004 So 3/16" aluminum? Does that sound right? I have done some rough checks and it seems like I can use a flat plate and mount the camera upside down underneath it without any real interference. wlie 0 #4 May 27, 2004 3/16" sure sounds right. You might even be able to get away with 1/8" but the weight saving isn't much.My other ride is the relative wind.
