mazevedo 0 #1 October 21, 2003 I have one DCR-IP5 and I used MovieShaker to capture my videos (provided by Sony). But I moved and I lost my CD. Does anyone knows any other program to capture from this camera? I had to format my HD and I lost the program.
hoym 0 #2 October 21, 2003 I've been experimenting a little bit with this program (scenalyzer) for capturing videos from my camera. It works fair enough. http://scenalyzer.com/
mazevedo 0 #3 October 22, 2003 It seems to work only with DV. The program don`t capture MICRO MV (MPEG2). But thanks anyway
webracer 0 #4 October 22, 2003 Ulead has software that claims to capture from microMV (Studio Quartet). Otherwise get a copy from someone of movieshaker. I don't think Sony will mind to share it since it is only for their cameras, and you own one, so are entitled. I can make you a copy if you can't find one localy. TroyTroy I am now free to exercise my downward mobility.
mazevedo 0 #5 October 23, 2003 Thanks Troy, I found some info @ these sites (maybe its interesting for you, too) I will try one P2P site, but if I don't find, I will ask for your help. mazevedo 0 #6 October 28, 2003 For everyone who use an IP5/IP7 Sony Micro MV, I found that Pinnacle 8.7 capture mmv format. It is better than the movieshaker and much faster.
