10D and Flash use.

Recommended Posts

Trying to figure out a problem I'm having.

My SunPak PZ 4000AF flash unit which has worked so well with my Canon Elan 7 will not fire with my 10D. I tested the camera with a borrowed Canon 550EX and it works fine, as well as with my old beat up Quantray (don't laugh) flash, and it works fine too. The power zoom function on the PZ4000AF works when hooked up to the 10D, it just won't fire.

Any thoughts? I have a call into ToCad (SunPak), but I thought I'd see if anyone knew anything, or has a source for information, as the 10D manual leaves a person wanting a little more information.

You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

Wow. You read the manual and wanted more.

"Thank you sir, may I have another!?"

550EX E-bay. It works so well with the camera, it really is worth the premium.
