PC 100 ?

I have a PC 100 and I am trying to firewire from another device to my cam. For some reason it doesn't want to record. Is there something that needs to be changed in the menu or what? Any help is appreciated.

I'm working from memory here, and my camera could be different, but do you have your camera set to VCR mode, then hit menu, page 3, then REC control?

Actually on the 100 I believe you have to have the camera in VCR mode and hit the (2) button combination for recording at the same time. The buttons are in the bottom right hand of the VCR control pad, I believe. Don't quote me on this... I've only used a PC100 once. The previous way mentioned was for the PC9 and 101 if I'm not mistaken and probably several others as well. Anyhow, good luck.

Good call, that is indeed what had to happen. had to know the secret button pushing sequence in order to get it to record. I was able to actually find that info out by opening up this paper thing, much liek a book, called a manual. I didn't think they ever put anything useful in those things
