freefalle 0 #1 February 17, 2003 Ive heard alot of talk about the Cannon Rebel 35mm. So I figured Id do some research and perhaps pick on up. The question is Which on is the most commonly used. It appears there are a few models of the Rebel. Any advice? Im considering the 2000 which from what Ive read in the past seems to be widely used for skydiving. Which lens should I be looking to purchase for skydiving purposes??
tictoc 0 #2 February 17, 2003 the 2k kit is a great way to start out. It comes with every thing you need to get started exept film. And for a good price. It is a good way to get your feet wet is the still world. I have not seen the price for the new one they have out. It might be just as good if not better.-------------------------------------------------------- Some one must go to the edge for others to be able to find it. But if you go be sure you can make it back.
freefallin14 0 #3 February 17, 2003 Check out my thread a few down titled Rebel Ti. bmcd308 had a great reply to it which covered a lot of my questions, and it seems like we are in the same boat. I have decided to go with the 2000 myself, going to but the body alone and pick up either a fixed 28mm lens or a 22-55mm lens. Bret Bret
underdog 0 #4 February 18, 2003 i agree with freefallin14......go with the "g" or 2000...buy the body then get a 24 or 28 mm wide angle lense. the 28-80 that comes in the kit is usable but it's too long in my opinion.
