Headhunter Aircam

Due to neck surgery to remove herniated disks from my neck I can put a lot of weight on my neck, so I purchased an Aircam from Headhunter so I can still shoot video. I'm having a problem with it. When I film directly at the sun the image goes crazy, also there is a yellow ring around clouds. I've tried putting a filter in front of the lens and that does not seem to help. Any ideas? Anyone else out there using this same video set up? I'm using this with my PC110.
