justme12001 0 #1 April 15, 2009 does anyone have any pics of pd's removable slider. I am making another slider and have ordered the rings from para concepts and want to see exactly how they are attached. Thanks in advance, and I know this is more of a rigging ? but I figured the people over here would have what I need
Sabre1Lucke 0 #2 April 16, 2009 This is the old principle from PD. http://www.performancedesigns.com/hotnews/RDS/rds.htm Here is the link to the new system witch is made by scott for PD. I use this system and it's great! http://www.peaengineering.com/RDS.htm And last but not least, my old system: http://www.lookma.de/Starting_Page/Products/RDS_Slider/rds_slider.html
NexGenSkydiver 0 #3 April 16, 2009 Hey, I could be wrong, but I thought pd is using a different slider for their comp velos. Which they made after scott's was approved by pd to be used on their canopys and they backed it up. I personally with always jump scott's rds, [http://www.peaengineering.com/RDS.htm], I think its the best and it has ony caused me to have better openings. I jumped an RDS like justme12001 made and found it gave me harder/ faster openings. Just me thoughts and 2 cents
Sabre1Lucke 0 #4 April 16, 2009 The slider from scott is for the standard VE. It's indeed true that the RDS system on a VE Competition is slightly different. Lucke
