"SkydiveVoss & Ekstremsportveko proudly presents the European Swooping Tour 2006. We have 10.000$ prize money for the competition, and a lot of nice stash from our sponsors. The preliminary rounds will consist of 3 events, each 2 rounds, according to the IPC rules: “Speed Carving”, “Distance” and “Zone Accuracy”. Some minor changes may occur to make the courses fit our pond. After preliminary rounds, top 6 goes to final. Scores are zeroed. Final rounds consist of 3 rounds “Carving Distance”. This event was created for the EST Voss 2005 event. Basically you have to do a water displacement through the Entry Gate (if not “0”), then fly as far as possible through the Carving Course. Longest in total are champ. Accommodation: Ekstremsportveko is a really busy period here at Skydive Voss. We have a limited number of rooms available in the big bunkhouse just across the runway. To book a room or bed in advance, you should send a mail to the administration ASAP!! There will also be a big tent camp if you prefer the cheaper solution. Ekstremsportveko: This great event includes organized activities in Skydiving, BASE, Paragliding, Hanggliding, Rafting, Kayaking, Climbing/Bouldering, Big Air, MTB, Freeride and downhill longboard. It is the greatest extreme sport event at our planet, counting around 1200 athletes from over 30 nations worldwide. In addition to the physical challenges, the week also presents great concerts, shows and parties throughout the week. In 2006 among others will play “Georg Clinton and the P-Funk Allstars”, “Danko Jones”, “Cunnin Lynguists”, “Seigmenn” and many others. You have to be a registered competitor at the Ekstremsportveko to attend in any activity.
