Dan 0 #1 November 7, 2002 Have decided to buy the crossfire2. going for the 119 loading it to about 1.7-1.8, by all accounts the canopy rocks!! A 100% better than the original crossfire, which was good anyway. Don't fancy the vengeance, the cobalt I know too little about, and although I love my stiletto I want to try something new. So its time to bite the bullet. Happy landings campers Dan.
gus 1 #2 November 7, 2002 Is your profile up to date? I'm no Canopy Nazi (TM) but a Crossfire2 at 1.7+ seems quite high for 300 jumps... GusOutpatientsOnline.com
Kirils 1 #3 November 7, 2002 Dan, the 119 X-fireII is quite a jump from the 135 Stiletto. By comparison it's a twitchy and very fast canopy. You might want to talk to an instructor and experienced jumpers who know your skill level to see if the downsizing and canopy style change is advisable. I know a few people who can fly a highly loaded ultra high preformance canopy with less than 500 jumps, but only a few. Be wise and stay safe."Slow down! You are too young to be moving that fast!"
