BravestDog 0 #1 March 19, 2015 Please allow clients to remove/edit words from comments that they've made in a thread or posting. Clients may make errors or may include some information which can later become irrelevant/personal. The way your website is set up right now, a client cannot remove/edit words from a comment that they've made it the past. I think it's in the best interest of your website/clients to allow clients to remove words from their comments indefinitely.
Meso 38 #2 March 19, 2015 Thanks for your feedback. We do try and cater for those examples, while still wanting to ensure that one isn't able to put something out there, then have it become the center of discussion, only for them to realize they were wrong and want to remove it - which would also often remove the value of the discussion. We allow the editing of posts for a period after submitting them, before they are replied to by others. This is for people who may have noticed a typo or made a formating error. For a long time we've wanted people to be accountable for what they post and to think carefully before hitting enter. And allowing full editing options would be counter-productive in achieving that :) It may be something we re-examine in future, but I don't think you'll see any changes in the immediate future. OscarTheGrouch 0 #3 March 19, 2015 You can always reply to the problem post in question, and add a clarification at a later time, right?
BIGUN 1,096 #4 March 23, 2015 And one can always make a subsequent thread to clarify their post using the subject line above after the time to edit the first post has expired. See above exampleNobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
