thatguythedj 0 #27 October 25, 2015 Well, I took my little one back to the tunnel for her 13th bday. I bought an hour to share. She has nailed her belly fly and got barrel roll done. Here is a little video. I am so proud of her. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKpyKACtOm0
wan2doit 6 #28 October 25, 2015 Tunnel time beats root beer or even real beer for that matter but adult traditions are important too. :) That little lady is doing great and will be a pro some day I bet.
thatguythedj 0 #29 October 26, 2015 She tried one run of backfly. After giving me crap about learning backfly. She was thinking she was going to pass me up. After 2.5 min of trying she went back to barrel rolls and fun flying. lol
wan2doit 6 #30 October 26, 2015 Hey she tried but a kid has to keep it fun. HaHa I'm the same way and always make sure to have some strictly fun flying mixed in with trying the seemingly impossible new skills like back flying and the infamous leg turns. :)
thatguythedj 0 #31 October 28, 2015 I agree. When working on a skill, the frustrations can take away from the learning. You need to take a break and do some skills you can do to clear your head. I think she will try back fly again soon enough. I know it sucks to learn, but progress afterwards will be worth it.
