BK-AIR 0 #1 January 23, 2007 Hi, i want to work on my HD this year a lot. So what do you guys think is the best way: Half an hour (maybe one hour ;-) ) of tunntel time or some (maybe 20)coach jumps. My history till now: i can sit pretty well (take grips...) HD is pretty poor. Didn't get the right feelin for it till now. No freeflyers at my DZ :-( Thanks a lot for your help. Bernhard P.S. Is Fabian Raidel still coaching in Bedford ??
lili 0 #2 January 23, 2007 Hi there, Assuming that your history is skydiving and not tunnel history, then I would say that the coaching jumps would be the wiser investment if you want to focus on head down. An hour of tunnel is very unlikely to get you to the point of flying head down in the tunnel. If your history is tunnel history then personally I would keep with the tunnel, however preferably do both. And Fabian does coach at Bedford, but it is a good idea to email him to find what dates he is planning to be there as far in advance as possible as Bedford is very busy. Good luck in whatever you do, L

Canuck 0 #4 February 6, 2007 They're not going to let you on your head in your first hour in a tunnel - probably not for several hours. It will likely take at least an hour before you will even get into a high speed upright position. Learn your HD the old fashioned way - in the air.
