Rocky Mountain Rescue Dogs searched the foothills while volunteers canvassed local businesses and hotels to see if anyone had seen the popular skydiver. Moab Police Department continues its investigation into Brown’s mysterious disappearance. “We are extremely grateful for the police officers and the volunteers who have come from near and far to assist with the search. Our hearts have been touched by the numerous acts of kindness this week including generosity of the Moab Valley Inn where we are staying,” said Wendi TeKamp, Brown’s sister. TeKamp and her uncle arrived yesterday from Canada where Brown grew up. Word of Brown’s disappearance has spread throughout the Internet and a Facebook page titled “Dave Brown is Missing” has been created. Brown’s father, friends and colleagues posted comments on the Facebook wall throughout the day. “Wendi, you have always been Dave's best friend and tied together in heart and mind through all the times you have spent together. Thank you Wendi for the tremendous determination, effort, and resolve you have undertaken to see that all forces are explored to find David's whereabouts,” Loving-Hopeful& Praying Dad Volunteers dirtbiked the Moab foothills looking for any sign of Brown. Tomorrow, 2 motorized paragliders are expected to fly over the foothills to search for Brown. Brown was last seen at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 29 near 488 Doc Allen Drive in Moab by his boss and friend Clint MacBeth. Those closest to Brown are confused as to why such a talented, well-liked extreme athlete would be missing. All of his personal credentials such as driver’s license, Canadian passport, U.S. Green Card, credit cards , clothing and belongings, and cash were left behind at his residence. A missing persons report was filed with the Moab Police Department. Dave can be described as a fun and energetic 37 year-old approximately 6'0 tall, 180 pounds with green eyes and dark brown hair. Dave has four tattoos: a black bat on his left shoulder, and a hummingbird, an alien head, and a moustache on his back. Brown is a national champion and world record holding skydiver with his skydiving team, Team Mandrin. Dave's friends and family are asking everyone to report any information related to the disappearance of our close friend, brother and son to the Moab Police Department.
