CazmoDee 3 #76 April 19, 2008 Thanks for the advice guys. I do plan on getting the training I need. I grew up watching my dad (Hale Castleman D1070) teach a two day course for a first jump (static line). I remember all the work that went in. We had the hanging harness, the platform for plfs, the Cesna mockup for exits, ect. I'm NOT taking this lightly. Don't want to break myself. The reserve does have a pilot chute. Again, thanks for the concern.I'm behind the bar at Sloppy Joe's....See ya in the Keys! Muff 4313
JerryBaumchen 1,068 #77 April 19, 2008 Hi Cazmo, So why not have your dad brief you on all of the needed info? After all, he DOES have some experience with it. JerryBaumchen

Send me a PM with your email and I will send you packing instructions." -------------- PM me too and I can send my own PC packing instructions with full colour pics. This offer applies to anyone else who's interested. Andrew
CazmoDee 3 #79 April 19, 2008 "So why not have your dad brief you on all of the needed info?" He has. It's just that he is in Virginia still, and I live in Florida. He had long ago misplaced the manuals and stuff for the gear. That's why I posted here. I'm behind the bar at Sloppy Joe's....See ya in the Keys!
