Skydiving in Australia?

Recommended Posts

Hey there,
I'm a UK jumper, recently gotten my A-licence and have a total of 51 jumps. I am in Australia with a year long visa and would love some advice on dropzones in Australia, and possibly the differences between jumping here and in the UK.

I am living in Melbourne, my last jump was at the end of June, have no gear with me here and have only done solo jumps so far. What would be a good dropzone to continue progression? Preferably in Victoria and close to Melbourne.

Thanks all,
Alex

Bridgewater run by Ralph (Australian skydiving) and Skydive Nagambie run by Mr Donald CROSS are both excellent DZs with turbine planes. Nagambie is closer to melbourne about an 1 hour 20 minute drive Both DZs go to 14000 feet

Closer still is Commando skydivers but i think they do not have a turbine.
I tend to be a bit different. enjoyed my time in the sport or is it an industry these days ??
