boris_77 0 #1 April 1, 2008 Hello, I am looking to go over to America for 3 months and hopefully get a packing Job. I will first need to Get my A-Licence so I can pack the rigs. I am intending to do My AFF at the place where I can find a packing Job. I have emailed several dropzones enquiring about it, but there is one dropzone (san diego) where I can not find an email address. Could anybody tell me the skydive San Diego email address? Thank you P.S. If anybody knows a dropzone that wants a packer please PM me.
Bolas 5 #2 April 1, 2008 You don't need to have an A License to pack. Some packers don't even jump. Many have used packing to pay for their license progression. Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.
peregrinerose 0 #3 April 1, 2008 Unless you have a work visa, you may have trouble with getting a packing job at a lot of DZs. Do or do not, there is no try -Yoda
raftman 12 #4 April 1, 2008 Why a visa for a CASH paying job in most cases. A dream come true for a foreigner! Happens all the time.
PhreeZone 15 #5 April 1, 2008 Cash is for sport jumps only usually, student/tandem is usually contactor and most DZ's need a work visa for tax reasons. Even letting a person with out a work visa pack sport gear on your DZ can be issues if anyone asks for their permit for verification at any point.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
