The Ballunar Liftoff festival. Make Space Center Houston your DZ for the weekend.

One of the big questions is always:
"What aircraft will we have".

The answer:
"The more people we have particpating, the larger the aircraft will be."

Q; Will there be CRW?, freefly?, Wingsuits?
A: If we have enough people from those disiplines interested in particpating, Yes.

That's why I'm getting the word out early this year so mark your calendar.

Due to the 4 inches of water currently on the field, and the forcast of more rain this weekend as a result of Hurricane Dean, the Ballunar Liftoff festival will not be held this weekend.

But that's just a postponement !!
Currently scheduled for Nov. 2, 3, & 4 of 2007. So if this weekend didn't fit your plans, maybe that one will. Unfortunalty it is the same weekend as the Bigway camp at Spaceland (with Tom Jenkins & Scott Elmer), but if you hadn't planned on that, come make Space Center Houston your DZ for the weekend.

OK,

So I guess the big way CAMP at Spaceland is Thur.& Fri. They are doing bigway sequential formations that Sat. & Sun. Fortunately, Steve needs to keep his Caravan that weekend, which is the Caravan we were going to use for Ballunar.

Why Fortunately?? Al had to go searching for another aircraft.

He found a CASA.
