Anyone ever jump Skydive Cancun/Skydive Playa

I'm going to Mexico in June. There is a DZ by the resort I'm staying in. Anyone ever Jump Skydive Cancun/ Skydive Playa?

It's about 1/2 hour south of Cancun. I know they do mostly Tandums. I'm wondering what they think of fun jumpers.

$30 US to jump from 10k out of a wide body 182---tandems come first but they will be more than happy to take you up. Great view - land on the beach- open high

I made a jump there back in June of 2002. Beautiful scenery. The landing area is very small. I am not sure of how many jumps you have but practice some accuracy before you go. There are not a whole lot of outs. All in all, it was one of my most memorable skydives ever........

Not sure what you mean by tight landing area- it was 40 yards wide by as far as you can see--there were sunbathers and soccer goals to miss though.

I had a friend who started skydiving there with two tandems before moving to the states. I saw the video of one of the tandems and it looked beautiful. There was quite the hike from the DZ office to the airstrip and the landing area did look smaller than most of the DZs I have seen, but it is long. Overall, the view looked unfathomly grand. I second the motion to open high and enjoy the scenery. Bring water gear; they are a USPA DZ and you want to be safe.
PS - I'm very jealous right now.
