flyhi 24 #2 March 21, 2003 Since you're in Hawaii, ask Max what he liked best about Thailand. Clarence, too. You may get both ends of the spectrum.Shit happens. And it usually happens because of physics.
askir 0 #3 March 21, 2003 Dude you just missed the biggest Boggie in Asia C-130's, etc. I lived and jumped there for a while, [email]but as far as I know 99% of the jumping is done through military channels. You may e-mail a friend of mine in Thailand who is connected to the jumping activities there. check out his website too. Thaitourism.com his address is [email protected], tell him cello gave you the heads up. LIFE IS LIKE A CIGARETTE, YOU CAN SIT THERE AND WATCH IT BURN AWAY OR YOU CAN SMOKE THAT BITCH TO THE FILTER
steve1 5 #4 March 21, 2003 I've heard Thailand is really a cool place. I think B.J. Worth was putting on a big boogie there, sometime this winter. Maybe it's already over. Steve1

CDRINF 1 #6 March 22, 2003 The Thai Sky Festival just ended. I was there for he 1st half and got 10 C130 jumps, most from 16,000 feet. World class load organizers. It was a blast! First class treatment all the way. CDR

ernokaikkonen 0 #8 March 24, 2003 >Siam Air Sports >I think they got their new aircraft (C-206). BPA rules. tight landing area. The website has been offline for quite a while now. I haven't heard of them getting a new plane after the previous one crashed.
Katzeye 0 #9 March 24, 2003 USMCDannyboy! Hey - it's the uncurrent chick from Saturday. Nice landing. I had to bail before you got back from the field. Now I understand the chute. Still not happy about 20mph gusts tho! From what I hear of jumping in Thailand - you'll most definitely want to wear a rig on their planes... also they are tightly controlled by the government, so jumping chances might be slim. I would highly recommend getting your SCUBA there if you're grounded. It's real cheap. blue skies! Is a chicken omelette redundant?
