bmcd308 0 #1 October 20, 2003 I remember a thread about the yellow cable being sucked through the grommet on the end of the cutaway cable housing a while back. I think this was on a tandem rig. I have searched for it but cannot find it. Does anyone remember the details or why this could happen with a correctly assembled 3-ring assembly? IIRC, it had something to do with the white loop being long enough to let the 3-rings flip down over themselves. Thanks. nightjumps 1 #2 October 20, 2003 Too long a loop is one reason - that can cause the "3rd ring" to flip down far enough to improperly overload the loop pulling the yellow cable through the grommet. The other is - improperly routing 2 rings through one.
