fmmobley 0 #26 June 25, 2006 FYI... Got to the dropzone, asked the Safety & Training guy (Joe) who assured me it would open fine. I jumped it and it opened like I had packed it the day before ! 13 weeks in the closet... no problem.... Marion

outrager 6 #28 June 25, 2006 QuoteOpinions? Jump it! It will open just like a fresh pack job. There has been plenty of research on this subject: pack jobs jumped after many years in storage with no measurable difference in opening characteristics. I have personally jumped a BASE rig that was sitting in a closet packed for one and half years. Now a thought of repacking a skydiving rig wouldn't cross my mind even in the worst nightmare. I hate packing! bsbd! Yuri.
