Your thoughts on stable reserve pull

That does make sense.But, as a beginner, I would think dealing with a burble would be less of a concern than going too head low and increasing the chances of an entanglement.Although I don't walk around with a fear of these, if I had to choose it would be a burble.Recently I have questioned the dangers of a head-low deployment.It is something I would like to avoid.

I agree. For beginners, I recommend an immediate reserve pull, while the jumper is still head-high. That way the issue is eliminated. (An RSL will accomplish this as well.)
