buddagod 0 #1 July 1, 2009 Hey all, if anyone has ever been a regular jumper at Sky's the Limit in Beeville, TX, give me a shout at [email protected]. For those who haven't heard, the DZO decided it was time to turn off the beer light for the last time a few weeks ago. It will be missed by a whole lot of people. I'm trying to find anyone who was a regular jumper there any time in the past 30 years to see if there's interest for a possible get-together one last time. Blue Skies! Beerlight 0 #2 July 1, 2009 Was Gary Morgan still running the place? I used to fly the jump plane from San Antonio down there for jumps on quite a few occasions. Like back in the 80's and early 90's! What a runway
buddagod 0 #3 July 1, 2009 yep. he ran the place until he decided he was ready to be done. the last 3 years we started jumping at the municipal airport instead of the grassy area. it was a whole lot nicer on the airplane.

Best boogie I ever attended was there. Mullins brought the Helio Stallion in, + we had 5 182's.....bonfire....booze.....and even a jumper land on a guys ultralight and bust it's wing, but not himself. Damn those were the days! skydemon2 0 #5 July 3, 2009 I was just passing thru but I enjoyed my jumps there! Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes clean to the bone! I like to start my day off with a little Ray of Soulshine™!!
