guineapiggie101 0 #1 April 2, 2011 and I can jump again and continue with AFF. I am sooo stoked. I am gonna try to jump sometime this weekend, if not, definitely next week. Been sooo busy with life lately that it's been hard to find time to be able to fit in a doc recheck appt. I miss being up in the sky sooo much
JohnnyMarko 1 #2 April 2, 2011 Congrats!!! Don't rush it. I have a tendency to not baby my injuries and get myself into more trouble. If you feel you're ready, go for it. If you think maybe it's too soon even though the doc released, take some more time. Nothing worse than causing more problems. Good luck with AFF! guineapiggie101 0 #4 April 2, 2011 thanks, the both of you. I'll be safe. Actually, I think I am going to be a bit rusty when I jump. I just hope I don't fear my landings (because that was how I hurt myself). Weather might not be good for jumping this weekend though, from what I heard. I still have a chance at getting my "A" license by summer.

guineapiggie101 0 #7 April 3, 2011 Thanks for the good wishes. Did a bit of refresher training today but wasn't able to do my AFF3 dive today due to wonky winds. I will try again tomorrow.
guineapiggie101 0 #8 April 4, 2011 Finally got to jump today but still didn't accomplish the goals for AFF 3 . I have to repeat it again . This time everything was great but I forgot to keep my legs out even when my instructors gave me the leg signal. I would keep it out, but then bring it back in. Consequently, the instructors couldn't let go of me so I have to do it again. It's frustrating, but I will get there. At least I got back in the sky again today. My goal is still to get my "A" by summer, but we'll see.

guineapiggie101 0 #10 April 4, 2011 Landing was very soft and painless If I had tried, it could have been a stand up landing too. I must give my jumpmaster (who guided me down via radio) all the credit for that. He made sure I landed well.
DocPop 1 #11 April 5, 2011 Congratulations!!!! Better to PLF a good landing than not to PLF a bad one!"The ground does not care who you are. It will always be tougher than the human behind the controls." ~ CanuckInUSA
