assoutjohnnie 0 #1 November 29, 2005 I have Crossfire and have put three jumps on it. On each one the slider stayed up near the top and didn't come down until I pumped the rear risers. I wonder if any one out there has had this problem and what they did to solve it?
mattjw916 2 #2 November 29, 2005 If your chest strap is very tight the slider won't come down all the way sometimes. Also, if your canopy is lined with Vectran when the lines get dirty they seem to have a bit more friction vs Spectra and that slows down/stops the slider as well. It happened on my Safire all the time. I ended up just making a habit of pulling on my rears until the canopy rocked back gently and then grabbing the trailing edge of the slider as it slid down the lines. Relining my Safire reduced the drag on the slider since the lines weren't as nasty and it happened far less often. FrogNog 1 #3 November 29, 2005 How new is the canopy? If those are the first three jumps on the canopy, ever, then that may be normal. Jumping it more should quickly make it quit doing that. -=-=-=-=- Pull.
