UPT vector 320 with Pulse 170, fit ?

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody,

I am currently looking to buy my first rig. I have 100 jumps and jump with Pulse 170. So I was recommended an UPT Vector 310.

However, I came across an interesting ad for a Vector 320. The UPT guide notes that it is possible to use a Pulse 170 with this rig but I'm afraid it will be really, really tight. (cf https://uptvector.com/sizing-chart/)

Has anyone here already packaged a Pulse 170 in a Vector 320? Isn’t it too tight and won’t damage the rig in the long term?

NB: With an Optimum 143 in reserve, i.e. reserve full fit reserve + main full fit

Thank you in advance for all your advice

I would say get a 310 or a 344 you can then have a larger reserve, they are a great container size that should get you plenty of years of use.

the 320 is even smaller plus the fill fit reserve, which will make packing that extra bit annoying, the 310 will be tight enough.
