Between Pelosi's ownership of a Vineyard, Hotel and Restaurants that all use "non-union" employees, (read illegals) I think she employs more than her share. -

Andy9o8 0 #12 November 16, 2006 Good. Murtha had so much ethical baggage from Abscam, he was a terrible choice. I read Pelosi pissed away a lot of political capital trying to strong-arm people to support Murtha. Absolutely stupid.

rushmc 18 #14 November 17, 2006 QuoteThe underlying message here is the Dems announced they have an interest in pursuing a moderate agenda. I also find interesting that Reid told Montana voters that the dem canidate (now the freshman senator for Montana) got elected he would give him a spot on the commitee he chairs. The anouncments for the postions came out today. Guess who was NOT on the commitee? Going to be a fun two years. The Dems are now so beholding to the far left special interests that it is going to hard for them to move on the moderate positions they spoke of without pissing off those who now think they own the party. To be continued........ Sorry if I got the state wrong. I am having a block trying to remember right now."America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." If anything the Dems are beholden to the moderates who got them their majority and threw the GOP bums out..... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one. If anything the Dems are beholden to the moderates who got them their majority and threw the GOP bums out.. Nice PA by the way but in any event. I agree the moderates and the dem canidates acting like conservatives or centrists are part of what got them elected. However, the money came from the moveon.com crowds and if you look at thier blogs it is not a moderate agenda they are pushing. As for the GOP bums. Again I agree but I think for different reasons. They went left instead of sticking the thier prinipals. They spent like dunks and were soft on border securtiy so they goy threw out. So we agee on labels but for different reasons. Also, by midterm election averages this cycle was minor."America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."
