Twin Otter Checklist (joke)....

Recommended Posts

THIS IS A JOKE AND ONLY A JOKE. Please take it as such! It was written by someone on another message board (aviation-related) who was replying to a request for a real twin otter checklist.
"- Wake up, try to remember when you parked the plane. Hint: you probably
slept in it.
- Put enough fuel in to be well over gross with your cargo, because you want
to turn around 3 loads before hot-fueling.
- Turn things on until the spinny things start spinning.
- Make sure the skydivers are at least half way in, and that the ladder that
was blown away by the prop wash didn't blow under the mains.
- Push the lever thing to make the plane go real fast.
- Take off DOWNWIND ONLY.
- Point the fresh-air vent at your face, because the air coming from the
skydivers isn't so fresh.
- You forgot to turn off the "exit" light last time, again. Turn it off
now.
- Climb, climb, climb.
- Fly towards the exit spot in a way that requires a sharp right turn
shortly before the exit (because the door is on the left).
- As soon as you're sure no one can find the airport, turn on the "open
door" light.
- Turn on the "exit" light 1/4 mile past the exit spot. Keep it on until
everyone has exited 4 miles past the spot.
- Dive, dive, dive. Your goal here is to make it back to the loading area
before any of the jumpers land.
- Land DOWNWIND if available.
- Hot-fuel as necessary.
- Repeat until someone gives you beer."
...I just found it rather funny, lol! :D:D
"If I could be like that, I would give anything, just to live one day, in those shoes..."
