LawnDart21 0 #1 July 25, 2002 Well I showed up at the DZ to pick up my rigs for beach jumps this Saturday at Plum Island airport, and ended up staying for night jumps. First jump was a 2 way so the other jumper could fullfill his D license requirement night rw jump. Great jump, except for the fact that once in freefall my wristmount altimeter decided to read 12,000ft for the rest of the skydive......Second jump (with a new altimeter.........) was a 5 way "dancing spider", not as many points this time though.......These were night jumps 3 & 4 for me, what a great experience it is jumping out of a plane into the darkness of night. -- My other ride is a RESERVE. packman 0 #4 July 25, 2002 night jumps are a kick ass time ! was on a sunset load once that turned into a night jump real fast ! they lined up cars next to the peas and turned on the headlights so everyone could see to land !
