So i get in there and I have the average old english teacher.... shes asked us one by one to stand up and tell everyone your name, where you are from, and hobby. So it gets to me and I stand up, state my name, where i am from, and then say "skydiving is my hobby".... you should have seen the look on her face, she gasps and says "Have a death wish do we?" laughing like i was a dumbass. I just simply said no and sat down. I should have told her that she has more chances of getting killed on the way home than i do jumpin from an airplane. aufreefly 0 #3 January 9, 2003 I think that every english teacher that I have had so far has sucked! One asked me every week if anyone had gotten hurt the previous weekend. So today I went in to my World Literature II class and my teacher tells us that we have to be open-minded and ready to hear opinions other than our own...then he tells us that we will be ejected from the class if persist in stating unpopular opinions (popular being what he believes in...liberal). He didn't waste much time, within the first five minutes he told us that Bush, Jr has "wacky" ideas. I ask him what he means and he goes on about ruthless this and that and when I attempt to interject he tells me that we must move on...this is going to be a long semester must not speak..must not speak Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
jessd 0 #4 January 9, 2003 I had an English prof that was like that. He was such an ass. He would belittle people in the class and everything. He made one girl cry - she dropped the class.
