jessd 0 #5 January 9, 2003 I love when we have fire drills at work. Each department asigns a "fire marshall" beforehand and they wear a bright orange vest and make sure everyone gets out safely. It's pretty funny. "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away..."
Luminous 0 #6 January 9, 2003 I'm the fire warden on my floor. I went to a class held by the fire marshall who explained what it was we're supposed to do. My job is to make sure people know how to get out which I'll accomplish by yelling "FOLLOW ME!" as I get the hell out of the building. But I didn't get a bright orange vest. skydiverbrian 0 #7 January 10, 2003 Fire Marshalls... that's funny. Similar to how I rescue people from crashed cars and such. I just stand back, cup my hands over my mouth, and shout "Get Out!" In a world full of people, only some want to fly... isn't that crazy! --Seal
riggerrob 561 #8 January 10, 2003 Reminds me of attending high school in Quebec during the (1970) October Crisis. Every time someone had a difficult exam, they would phone in a bomb threat!
