darkvapor 0 #2 March 31, 2003 Hrmm.. just noticed something.. the symbols change each time.. maybe thats a hint at how this thing works.. ;) edited: hehe.. nevermind.. im starting to get how the thing works.. hehe.. the sum minus the differences is quite predictable.. however.. if you dont think about it.. its quite fun.. edited 2: doh.. ehhe.. its simple.. ehe.. there are only like a finite number of possible numbers you can get.. and they all have the same symbol (which changes each turn)... shoulda guessed it.. racer42 0 #3 March 31, 2003 It's a math trick! Add both numerals of the number you pick and then subtract that from the number itself. Same symbols! TA DA!! Of course the pattern changes everytime. johnny1488 1 #4 March 31, 2003 No matter what double digit number you use it comes out to a multiple of 9 and all the multiples of 9 are the same symbol (up to 81) after that you cant come up with a higher number. Push 0 #8 March 31, 2003 Damn! I knew I shouldn't take off that tinfoil hatIt's a simple number trick. The sum of the digits is related to the number in a very simple way: 10a + b - (a + b) = 9a Tadaa. -- Toggle Whippin' Yahoo Skydiving is easy.
