Well, yes and no.

regardless of screen resolution the line you're tracing is still the same width in pixels, and the cursor (or at least the part that matters) is always just one pixel.

However at lower res the whole thing will look bigger to you, and perhaps make it easier to follow with your hand.

for the record I was using 1152x864 on a 16" (viewable image size) screen

I work in 1200 x 1600 on a 17" monitor. I went to 800 x 600 and could do no better, so I guess you're right.

I have a 1 pixel cursor? Really? That explains my difficulty when playing "Vietnam"
