d_squared431 0 #34 April 19, 2004 Here are some I have heard patients say: 1)I woke up this morning and notices my toes were cold, swollen, and discolored so I cut it off. 2)I was worried that the circulation was being cut off which was causing my foot to itching all the time so I cut it off. 3) I wasn't thinking straight because of the pain med's. 4) I wasn't sure my insurance would cover removal. I have heard so many different excesses and I know your doctor has too. He will just tell you it is now going to take more time for it to get better.
