looking for WAV files (a-law codec, mono, 8kHz)

I have tried converting normal wav files, but am unable to do so..............

Jerm set me up with Goldwave www.goldwave.com that I use to convert to wav. Don't know if this is what you're needing, but I hope it helps.

Cool Edit or Sound Forge. You can convert any audio file from anything to anything.
