Pro track log book issues

I have two pro-tracks. I have read the manual, and handed the suckers to others to try and zero out the logbooks. No joy so far. I've also email L & B, but haven't heard back yet.
Has anyone else run into this, or just plain have a solution?

never had any issues, and I have deleted A LOT of logbooks :P)

set each warning altitude to 100
Go to ”LOGBOOK DEL” and
press and hold .
While holding , press
and keep it pressed
while the display counts down from
”500” to ”0”.
2 beeps will sound when the unit has
deleted the logbook.

I tried that a few months ago, I could not get it to zero out. I did what the manul said like 20 times and it would not zero out.

at which step did you have issues ?

setting all altitudes to 100 ?
finding LOGBOOK DEL in the menu ?
getting it to countdown from 500 ?
other ?

pretty much from the beginning. I set t0 100 and it wouldnt do anything and hit Del and nothing

so you are going to LOGBOOK DEL
PRESS AND HOLD MODE
WHILE HOLDING MODE - PRES AND HOLD SET

and nothing happens ?

I cant remember how I did it but I did do what I read in the manual, I might have missed something.
