Clenbuterol

Hi all,

I have a mate who is using this as a diet pill, she is into bodybuilding - does anyone know about this - potential side effects that kind of thing? I thought this was the thing that all those tour de france guys got caught with so am a little worried that it can't be good for her if its a banned substance?

There's a pretty good page on it. Sounds like it works but needs to be used with caution. Like any other drug.

Clenbuterol is a beta-2-symphatomimetic . It's affects can be compared to steroids such as Winstrol Depot. Clenbuterol can cause solid, highly qualitative muscle growth. It also has a strong anticatabolic effect which decreases the rate at which protein is reduced in the muscle cell, consequently causing an enlargement of muscle cells. For this reason, numerous athletes use Clenbuterol after steroid treatment to balance the resulting catabolic phase thus obtaining maximum muscle mass. Clebuterol also burns fat by increasing body temperature slightly, forcing the body to burn fat.

The moral of the story is Clebuterol is only obtained through a physicians order or through the black market. It has some potential side affects that could be serious including significant increase in blood pressure. If she didn't get the script from a physician she may not be taking the right dose for her. It could be dangerous. Hope this info helps you.
