kenz 0 #1 September 26, 2005 i just wanted to re-state the obvious about how INCREDIBLE sir paul mccartney is!!!!! i just saw him in concert on friday, and never in my life have i seen a show like that before... ive been to thousands just from working in the "biz" but this was PHENOMINAL... he played for 3 hours... did two encores and just kicked serious ass!!! if any of you guys have not seen him and he is coming to your town... GO... buy any remaining tickets.. and if its "sold out" go on ebay or wait till the day of when ticketmaster releases more... it is SO worth it... ok that is all "life does throw curveballs sometimes but it doesn't mean we shouldn't still swing for the homerun" ~ me
avenfoto 0 #2 September 26, 2005 lol... he played the super bowl in jacksonville last year (half time) me and a skydiving friend replied to a superbowl volunteer ad and worked on the setup crew for half time... this means we staged in the tunnel to the field for the entire second quarter, as soon as it went to commercial break (after the 2nd..)we all mad-dashed our pieces to a predetermined place on the field, assembled som pyrotechic towers on the quick, and then stood in as "the audience" for the tv cameras.. so lol "no shit there i was" on the 50 yard line at the fuckin' super bowl in front of 80,000 screaming idiots and who knows how many tv viewers... a once in a lifetime experience to say the least... and i got some cool pics...of paul mcartney.. from 3 ft away .. as he was escorted to the stage from the sideline... sweeeet... freethefly 6 #4 September 26, 2005 Right on, Paul does indeed rock. Another show worth seeing is Ringo Starr. Saw him 3 times and hope to see a 4th."...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

jimmytavino 16 #6 September 27, 2005 Cool... My Sister, Myself, My wife , my 3 brothers and my 3 sisters-in-law will ALL attend the show in Washington DC on Oct 8th...Very rarely have all the siblings been able to do something like this.... we are looking forward to the show, and now even more So.!!!! Do you think it will be possible to bring a camera into the show??? or are photographs prohibited??
avenfoto 0 #7 September 27, 2005 pictures are generally prohibited at all major concerts/events, technically they own the copyright to the performers "image"... hence the horrible quality, a disposable camera.. i wasnt willing to risk my slr or my slot on crew...
