flexpng1 0 #1 October 1, 2007 I have never owned an Aerodyne canopy before. Just got my brand new stock Mamba 150 in the mail today. Previously owned Sabre 2. The question is are the lines on all Aerodyne canopies an off-white color or is it just a different material that the lines are made of that make them this color. my sabre 2 had bleach white lines. thanks for any help
DeNReN 0 #2 October 1, 2007 The Mamba comes with HMA lines not spectra like the S2
kaerodyne 0 #3 October 5, 2007 flexpng1 The Mamba come standard with 700 lb HMA Line - Which provides exacting tolerance on line trims, Spectra shrinks over time due to friction of the slider coming down during deployment, thus the canopy would slowly go outta trim. HMA does not shrink, but needs to be inspected every 50 to 100 jumps, as a worn set of HMA could snap a few lines during deployment.
